Consignment Agreement

Welcome! We’re pleased that you want to become a part of our shop. Here’s how it works:
When you bring your items in, we will select what our customers will buy. Sometimes there will be items we cannot accept. Please understand that our customers’ preferences must be our selection guideline. All items must be in high quality, like-new condition; clothing must be freshly laundered, free of wrinkles and on hangers. We can provide you with hangers, free of charge, if needed.
We base prices on supply and demand. We will get the best possible prices for you.
You receive 50% of the Final Selling Price. Stop in any time for any money owed you (please call 1 day in advance and we will have your check ready).
We will display your items for 60 days. The selling price may be reduced after the first 4 weeks, and at the 6-week point. Your merchandise may also be included in Promotions, Seasonal, or Clearance Sales when appropriate. Again, you will receive 50% of the Final Selling Price.If you would like to retrieve any unsold items, please call us 1 to 2 days prior to your “end of consignment” date, and we’ll have your items ready for you. If you do not pick up the remaining unsold items within 7 days after your consignment period ends, they become the property of Silver Lining Boutique and will be disposed of. Reminder calls will not be made.
We will do our best to safeguard your items, but we are not responsible for damage or loss.We look forward to a long and mutually profitable association with you. After all, we couldn’t do it without you, our partner in consigning! I have read the above terms and agree with them.
